Reliance Purchases Trend Industries

Reliance Tool & Manufacturing Company of Elgin has purchased the assets of Trend Industries of Franklin Park. The new company will operate under the name RTM Trend. RTM Trend is a metal stamper specializing in deep draw stampings and furniture hardware. Reliance Tool & Manufacturing Company builds tools and dies and is a manufacturer of casket hardware. Both companies are second tier suppliers to the automotive and agricultural industries. RTM Trend occupies 50,000 square feet at 11333 Melrose Ave. in Franklin Park.
